Then you might want to rethink how you close it out and start the New Year
We have a few things we do to get ready for the New Year...and we do them for the kids too.
1st...Day Does Start with a workout...that is a non negotiable.
2nd While we have talked about some of the goals we have for 2019, things we are doing for the THE WORKOUT (Including Bootcamp After Dark ) and personal things like competing and some travel...we will put pen to paper and write these down. We will also put dates to everything, timelines and map out how we will hit our targets.
3rd In the evening, for the last 6 Years I have attended the Burning Bowl ceremony at Unity on the Bay in Miami....it's no secret, I have checked in on Facebook there every time I go...I had heard about Unity for a while..and always wanted to go and just never made the time, but that night 6 years ago I was able to attend this ceremony and well...now it's something I don't miss..
But here is short summary:

It has been a symbolic ceremony used in the Unity Movement for decades. Do you have old memories you’d like to release? You know those old resentments, angers, and hurts that you are holding on to in mind; you don’t need them any more, they prevent God’s goodness from flowing into your life. This one-hour special service also includes an inspirational message, live music by our choir, and the setting of intentions through writing your personal letter to God (which we will mail back to you in the middle of 2019 as a reminder)."
I don't normally share a lot of the things we do outside of fitness and eating in my emails, but I'm already working changing that for 2019... so Lais, Bri, Jr and I will be there tomorrow night
4th....Dinner...We have gone to this great Italian place which normally has a great New Years eve menu...but they do not open on Monday, and will not change that so they are closed tomorrow......
Enough of that tomfoolery, they tried to mess with my tradition, so we just went last night ...BOOM!
5th...The midnight countdown....That one changes all the time...maybe we are out, maybe we are home...but a morning workout on January 1st is for sure on the agenda
and I have one for you as well...Tuesday morning January 1st at 11am we will have the 1st workout of the year...and I plan to kick the year off with a bang!!

I AM TRULY THANKFUL FOR ALL OF YOU....not just on Thanksgiving ;-)
