This is one of my favorite meals...for Break-Fast or any time of the day...it's actually really good both pre-workout and post workout
So 1st thing is...get rid of the story that some foods are good or bad.
Let's look at fuel for what it really is...FUEL
Regardless of what food you get McDonalds or Whole Foods...it's all fuel
Some more nutrient dense than others...but fuel
For the human body to remain alive, it needs energy. Around 20 percent of the energy we take in is used for brain metabolism. Most of the rest is used in basal metabolism, the energy we need when in a resting state, for functions such as blood circulation, digestion, and breathing
With all of the things we have learned in the modern era...it's 2022, and we know a lot more now than we did 10 years ago, 20 years ago, 30 years ago etc etc...and we are still debating some old school non evidence supported ideas
So, your opinions and bias...are yours and are based on what you have learned growing up...but sorry...what your parents taught you may have been wrong.
