'Peak week' is something spoken about extensively in the world of bodybuilding and physique sport. It essentially refers to the final week before the big day, and is commonly thought of as a time to 'rescue' a look and make significant improvements to a lagging physique.
There's a reason why disappointment is the norm and success is the exception. Practically every gym in America has a "guru" with a secret plan guaranteed to make you super-dry, full, and shredded onstage. Unfortunately, most of these plans are complete BS. They'll leave you dry, all right-high and dry, and nowhere near the winner's circle.
I like to stay the course...we have been doing XYZ for 16 weeks 20 weeks 9 months...what ever it is...no need to change the formula that got us here
So for my Athletes...this year is unique...The VID (Covid) and we had to build in Thanksgiving...but we did it..and they are all eating a good amount of food, workouts changed this week and we will ride the wave till Sunday night.
Over the weekend Lais and I went to the NPC Nationals show...so cool to watch the culmination of so many competitors get on stage
This week we have the WBFF Show in Miami and as of last week we found out the Mr Olympia competition and the whole Mr Olympia weekend will be moved to Orlando because Las Vegas is closing up again. And I'm excited to go and take advantage of how close it is ...I've been personally following the Mr Olympia competitions since Lee Haney won number 8 in 1991
