Hey Everyone
This is one of those EVERYONE wants...Advanced Fat Loss...but most people miss and skip the basics...
I'm still going to give it to you, don't worry
Last Week I shared the 𝟒 𝐋𝐚𝐰𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. on Social media
1. Accumulation Beats Novelty
Most people treat fitness like entertainment.
They want new workouts, new plans, new stimuli, just to stay “interested.”
The truth:
The body doesn’t adapt to excitement.
It adapts to repeated signals.
Real transformation comes from:
repeating movement patterns
building skill instead of chaos
letting adaptations show up over time
We don’t reset.
We accumulate.
There is no “starting over.”
There is only continuation… or interruption.
2. Intensity Is the Real Variable (Not Volume)
It’s easy to train for 90 minutes at 40% effort.
It’s hard to train for 40 minutes at 90% effort.
The truth:
- Most people hide from real work by adding more volume.
- More exercises.
- More sets.
- More fluff.
Effort creates adaptation.
Volume without intent is just movement.
If you’re not uncomfortable, you’re not changing.
3. Most People Are Psychologically Under-Trained
Everyone worries about weak glutes or tight hamstrings.
But the real weak link is usually the mind.
The truth:
Progress stalls because of:
- fear of discomfort
- fear of being bad at movements
- fear of boredom
Fat loss isn’t just physical.
It’s a psychological battle against your urge to quit, negotiate, or distract yourself when it gets hard.
Identity drives behavior.
Until you see yourself as someone who finishes, you’ll always look for exits.
4. Consistency Crushes Optimization
People get stuck chasing:
- the perfect macro split
- the optimal rep range
- the newest protocol
The truth:
Optimization is often just procrastination in a tuxedo.
A simple plan executed with savage consistency will always beat a perfect plan executed sporadically.
The body rewards repetition.
Not cleverness.
NOW The Advanced Stuff...does not mean you will understand, but I'm happy to share.
I'll give you 1 and if you want more simply reply to this post with "more" and I'll send 1 more, I have 10 of them, and They are system-level realities, the kind that only emerge when you study metabolism as a living, adaptive network rather than a math problem.
1. Fat loss is governed more by signal interpretation than energy balance
Calories are inputs. Fat loss is an output decision made by the
nervous–endocrine–immune network.
Your body constantly asks:
“Is it safe to release stored energy right now?”
That decision depends on:
- sympathetic vs parasympathetic tone
- perceived stress vs control
- inflammatory load
- thyroid signaling efficiency
- leptin interpretation (not levels)
Two people can eat identical calories and train identically...
one loses fat, the other doesn’t, because the signal context differs.
Fat loss is not subtraction.
It’s permission.
Simply put, most of you say words like "Calorie Deficit" but don't know what it means.
Here is what is means "Any amount of calories less than what your body needs daily"
What you all focus on: Any amount of calories less than
What you should focus on: what your body needs daily
No, that macro calculator and that macro coach can't help you there.
It requires a deeper understanding...and lots of execution
Ok, that's it today
Wish you a Super Tuesday
Coach Rafael Moret
