I was re-reading the Success Principles and I think the same RULES apply to Fitness, Fat Loss, Weight Loss  and Just about anything...

  4. “One of the great strategies for success is to act as if you already are where you want to be.”---Go buy that new dress or those new jeans act as if you have already lost the weight
  5. “The world doesn’t pay you for what you know; it pays you for what you do.”---You could think you know all about about eating clean or healthy meals, you could have "tired" all the diets...but results only come from doing the work

Hey Everyone ....it's Thursday and there are a lot of questions about a few things floating around...so let's answer them...and if you have some more or some I don't cover..please write back and I will...

1. Why It's Not Just Bootcamp? Well....it's not..Bootcamp is just the workouts..then we have meal planning..we make donuts..we have private coaching..we have supplements..and so much more..so just calling it bootcamp is not enough..It's Not Just Bootcamp

2. Is my Book for personal trainers or anyone? It's for everyone, it's 12 months of workouts and a progression from one season to the next. However...it is written for trainers to implement in their bootcamp and class..more than 500 Bootcamp are using it!

3. What is SQUATOBERFEST? It is not like October Fest..there is no Beer...But there are a lot of Squat..It is an out of the box Leg Workout that I created 3 Years ago..and it is Epic..You will train hard, and you will learn a lot...10:30am this Saturday Oct 14th and it's $20 per person.

7. What is EPOC?
Activities that burn calories and elevate metabolism.-   We're still looking at activities that eat up calories and increase EPOC (Exercise Post Oxygen Consumption). EPOC is the metabolic rate's recovery back to pre-exercise levels, which can require several minutes if you do light exercise, and several hours if you do hard intervals. Look for activities that keep you burning more calories after the workout.

Adding "variety" to your programs is simple

for some reason I see a lot of bootcamp trainers confusing variety with randomness.(is that a word) 
Adding "variety" to your programs is simple...it can be changing an exercise,a grip,changing tempos,adding a game finisher, and the list goes on...but this is working within your clients goal oriented Programs...

Consistently taking action and readjusting your goals when necessary is crucial to keeping the momentum going throughout the year....and just in time to spice things up....
This sample below is from the Fall Bootcamp Program... incorporates "Giant Sets" and different work/rest tempos..and it's a great way to get the Bootcampers to Fall Back In Line:)
Note: You can swap out exercises and tweak to your style and group.

How is my Bootcamp Family doing during Hurricane IRMA

Just checking in....
Wow...what craziness the last few days!!!
I hope you are all safe...
I hope you all have enough food and water and I hope if you needed to evacuate you did.

We had a class at the gym yesterday in Miami Lakes at 10am...and we rocked the house!!
Yesterday I posted a workout you could do at home...and I shared what I did on instagram a few minutes ago....

It's the pic above....movement is always a good Idea people...ALWAYS..

There is no reason to just sit around the TV all day and not take 20-30-40 or even 55 minutes to workout...

Try 100 squats..100 Jumping Jacks..100 Mountain Climbers and 100 Leg Raises

It's good for stress, it's good to break up the cabin fever and it's good for your goals...
