Have You Watched - What The Health???

Seems like all the talk these days is about this Netflix Documentary "What The Health"...
More alarming is how many people are making changes to their eating habits based on this documentary ...

Listen...I am all about doing the BEST thing for your Health....but I am also about science, about facts and not making choices just on opinions and feelings...

In the spirit of so many food documentaries and diet books that have come before, 
What the Health promises us there is one healthy way to eat. And it involves cutting all animal products from our diet.
Meat, fish, poultry, and dairy are fattening us up, giving us cancer and Type-2 diabetes, 
and poisoning us with toxins

The film fails on several accounts, and cranks the food fear sirens to irresponsibly high levels. They mischaracterizes and overstates what we know about how particular foods drive disease, by offering a narrow view of the science with cherry-picked studies to support his views. He also seeks out a slew of vegan and animal rights–friendly health professionals rather than a more balanced roster of experts, and engages in silly gotcha journalism to suggest organizations like the American Diabetes Association intentionally hide the truth about diet.
Most of us could stand to eat more fruits and vegetables and less processed meat and dairy, and a plant-based diet might be a healthy choice for many people. But with messages like “drinking milk causes cancer” or “eating eggs is as bad as smoking cigarettes,” this film isn’t going to right our health problems. It confuses what’s known in science and obscures the truths of nutrition that could actually help us live healthier lives.

Do You Really Want Your Body To Change or Transform?


Seriously....do you really want to?

The 1st step is to know what you want....look at all the pictures above...maybe one of these connects with you, maybe none of them do...but they all represent different fitness goals and they also represent what I am talking about.

If you really want to change your body or transform....you need to know what you really want....
if you don't you go around aimlessly doing something and getting no where...

I'm currently reading a book about failing...yes about failing...failure....lol
and I have gotten so many things from it...

Like this "Learning is defined as a change in behavior, you haven't changed a thing until you take action and use it"

you see no matter how much I share with you about vitamins, and omega 3's or explain how calories work and explain protein.....if you don't change your every day behavior and do all the things I am talking about...then you have not really learned....

and if you have not learned...that means I have not done a good job at teaching :-(

So let's see if I can do a better job at that...we have a new month and I want to get a lot done...starting with helping all our members RANK UP...get to the next Level of FitranX..
You see if you get to the next level of FitranX it means you got a little stronger and have a little more endurance...and if this is the case then that also means your body had to change...so it's a win win for everyone

Tomorrow morning at 6:45am...I re start my Level 8 training..and I invited anyone that wanted to come workout with me to come down...this is not a class..it's a workout...I will explain what we are doing and we will all work together...if anyone shows..if not..I'm sure I will post some pics on Instagram or Snapchat

But that also brings me to some changes in the day to day workouts...I want to make sure I organize them better for you and help you progress better...so we have a nice FitranX curriculum lined up for all our workouts...Yesterday everyone got the 1st taste of Kettlebell Day...today we have some more stuff mapped out for you so be ready ready...

I started My Detox Today + Weekend Schedule + FitranX

Every day is a chance to start something NEW..I don't think we need to wait till Monday but I understand why so many people do...I started my 14 Day Detox Today..I've just had several weeks of inconsistent eating and it's time to make sure I am as focused as ever. I am working on a few business projects and need to make sure my energy is up and that I am healthy...How do I do that..Eat Right..Take My Supplements and Workout

So Detox started today, I will keep you posted on the results, and some adjustments to my training..I still want to Hit That Level 8...not going to do it thinking or wishing...need to train..and if I am hitting FitranX hard...so are my ABF (Awesome Bootcamp Family) members...I can't make you detox with me...but I can make sure you get better at your workouts..

So lets get you to Level 1 or Level 2 or Level 3 or what ever the next one for you is...but lets do it...We start today FRESH and I will announce testing dates soon

Need To Lose 5lbs or even 10lbs?

HOW TO DROP 5 OR 10 POUNDS FAST
STEP 1: 
Take some Nitric Oxide:
Within the cells of your body are the tiny mitochondria, the sites where food and oxygen is miraculously turned into energy for you. These microscopic parts of cells are actually major powerhouses. It's not made up...Just Science....

Step 2:
A study presented at the Annual Meeting of the American Society for Clinical Nutrition claimed that in women who were on very low caloric diets (who you'd expect would drop off in their rate of fat loss eventually), "Fats (Omega-3's) accelerated removal from adipose tissue indicates either a preferential step in Beta-oxidation or a defined need during supplemented fasting which exceeds its rate of provision from adipose stores."

This means that Omega-3 is very important during the fat burning process (Beta-Oxidation means that fatty acids are broken down to create a usable form of energy), and it's required even during states of fasting because it can help burn more fat.

Another way Omega-3 fatty acids help fat loss is by taking fats with your meals you're actually lowering the glycemic load of the meal; implying that the insulin spike that comes with food consumption won't be as high because fats help lower it.

WATER....GET ON THE SCALE....WHAT EVER THE NUMBER ON THE SCALE SAYS...THAT IS HOW MANY OUNCES OF WATER YOU NEED PER DAY.



How Water Boosts Metabolism
“Water’s involved in every type of cellular process in your body, and when you’re dehydrated, they all run less efficiently -- and that includes your metabolism. Think of it like your car: if you have enough oil and gas, it will run more efficiently. It’s the same with your body.”
One study, for example, found that people who drank water before meals ate an average of 75 fewer calories at each meal. That doesn’t sound like a lot -- but multiply 75 calories by 365 days a year. Even if you only drink water before dinner every day, you’d consume 27,000 fewer calories over the course of the year. That’s almost an eight-pound weight loss.

“In general, you should try to drink between half an ounce and an ounce of water for each pound you weigh, every day.” For example, if you weigh 150 pounds, that would be 75 to 150 ounces of water a day. If you’re living in a hot climate and exercising a lot, you’d be on the higher end of that range; if you’re in a cooler climate and mostly sedentary, you’d need less.
PROTEIN...Get Back on the scale...have somewhere between 1 gram of protein for every pound you weigh ..so if you weigh 200lbs...you should be consuming 200 grams per day, divided into small meals...But new research suggests that eating more could boost fat loss—more protein, that is. Dieters who double their protein intake lose more fat and maintain more muscle mass than dieters who eat the recommended daily amount, according to a new study published in The FASEB Journal....

LAST THING....FIBER!!!!
Fiber for fat loss, are you crazy? That's right folks, fiber can actually help you lose fat. We all know that fiber will help fight against heart disease, cholesterol, diabetes and colon cancer, but it also plays a role in fighting obesity. Fiber is a compound that only plants contain. The fiber we consume from plant foods is called dietary fiber. Dietary fiber only comes from plant foods (i.e. grains, oats, fruits, etc.); it is never in animal foods (i.e. meats). Dietary fiber can be broken down into two forms, soluble and insoluble fiber. Though there is no daily recommended amount of fiber, health experts recommend consuming 20-35 grams of fiber per day. On average, most Americans consume only 12 grams of fiber a day.
